Dave Day, 2024
National Tribute Bike Ride in memory of Hairy Biker & Son of Royalty, Dave Myers
Organised by our Sons of Royalty leader/road captain, Woody, who also led the ride together with Hairy Biker, Si King.
In June 2024, the nation travelled from far and wide to honour Dave Myers:
A phenomenal 46,000 bikers joined the ride from London to Barrow-in-Furness
Supported by 200,000 pedestrians on roadsides and motorway bridges, cheering them on their way.
A rock gig at Barrow Raiders Rugby Club
£128,000 raised for charity (split 50:50 between the NSPCC’s ChildLine and The Institute of Cancer Research)

An annual rock gig in memory of Sons of Royalty founder and leader, Daryl Clark.
This year, Thunder’s Luke Morley gathered some music pals together and once again, we raised almost £10k for NSPCC’s ChildLine.
